Joseph A. Nervi Jr.'s Obituary
Joseph A. Nervi, Jr., age 53 of Alliance, died on Tuesday, December 25, 2007, at Alliance Community Hospital. Joe was born in Alliance on May 21, 1954, and graduated from Alliance High School in 1972. Joe received a Masters degree in Education at Kent State University and was employed at NASA Lewis Research Center in Cleveland where he recruited college interns for careers in the aeronautics field. He enjoyed gardening, being outdoors and reading. Joe was also interested in following politics. He is survived by his mother, Tricia Nervi, his father, Joseph Nervi, Sr.; siblings, Jay (Lisa) Nervi, Janie (Robert) Murphy, Janice (Bob) May; his beloved nieces and nephews; and caring aunts, uncles, and cousins. Joe was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, William and Nancy Nervi. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Saturday, December 29, 2007. There will be no calling hours. A private family interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
