Joseph Edward Magyaros' Obituary
Joseph Edward Magyaros, 75, of Alliance, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 3:27 pm at Akron City Hospital in Akron, Ohio following complications from an auto accident.
Born on October 7, 1943 in Alliance, to Martin and Katherine (Haidet) Magyaros, he lived in Alliance most of his life.
A graduate of Alliance High School, Joseph was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council #558.
Joseph retired from Conrail Railroad where he worked as a clerk.
Survivors include his son, Michael Joseph Magyaros of North Carolina; his sister, Carolyn Boring of Alliance; a brother, John Magyaros of South Korea; and nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Rev. Matthew J. Mankowski as celebrant. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park. There will be no calling hours.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Knights of Columbus, Council #558.
