John Paul Stiffler's Obituary
John Paul Stiffler, 71, of Alliance, died on Thursday, October 16, 2003, at 8:05 p.m. at his home. A resident of the Alliance area for most of his life, he was born in Somerset, Penn. on February 7, 1932, and had retired from the maintenance department of the former Sherwood Manufacturing Company. He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Sebring. Mr. Stiffler is survived by two daughters, Brenda Sue Temple and Janet Marie Milburn, both of Alliance; four sons, Butch Temple, John Thomas Stiffler, Ted Stiffler, and Scott Allen Stiffler, of all Alliance; 13 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Christine Huskins of Beloit and Betty Jean Droney of Maryland; one brother, Irvin Stiffler; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles. He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin Oscar and Edna Blanche (Nicklow) Stiffler, Sr.; stepmother, Barbara Allen Dorsey; and a brother, Richard Allen Stiffler. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 21, 2003, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 22, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. James M. White officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
