John F. Lee's Obituary
John F. Lee, 56, of Alliance, died unexpectedly of natural causes Tuesday evening, March 3, 2015, at Akron City Hospital. He was born Oct. 20, 1958 in Alliance to Robert A. Lee and Jeannie R. Lee.
An Alliance High School graduate, John earned an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Stark State College, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Technical Education from Akron University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Akron University. A registered nurse, he had been a traveling nurse for the last two years, and his most recent employment was at Akron Children's Hospital in Boardman, Ohio.
John served 10 years in the Army and was a member of the American Legion in Alliance. He also belonged to the Masons. He enjoyed riding his Harley, shooting, collecting guns, hunting and boating.
Surviving are sister, Kristi A. Lee of Alliance; nephew and niece-in-law, Geoffrey and Mindy Starnes of Canton; son, Robert J. Lee of Alliance; daughter, Kathryn A.M. Larkins of Alliance; son-in-law, Michael P. Larkins Jr. of Alliance; son, Christen E.J. Lee of Cuyahoga Falls; son, Noah A.F. Lee of Alliance; grandson, Chandler C. Lee of Alliance; grandson, Bryce J. Lee of Alliance; and granddaughter, RaeLynn A. Larkins of Alliance.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert A. Lee; mother, Jeannie R. Lee; and sister, Karen M. Lee.
John was an amazing, charismatic man who was a great nurse and saved many lives. He was a wonderful father, a great friend and a very caring grandfather. John did a lot for his family, friends and for his patients. He was a very respectable member of his community and was well loved by everyone he met.
He proudly served his country for 10 years. He had many accomplishments in his short life. He was well loved by all, his death was sudden and unexpected. He will be missed by many.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at St. Jacob's Lutheran Church, 1460 State St. N.E. (between Route 43 and Market Street), North Canton.A time of refreshment will follow the service.
A memorial service will also be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Alliance. A meal will follow the service.
