John F. Leasure III's Obituary
John F. Leasure III, 64, of Canton, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 4:28 pm at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Medical Center in Canton, Ohio.
Born on September 28, 1957 in Sumter, South Carolina to John F. and Shirley A. (Baughman) Leasure, he lived in Canton most of his life.
He attended Canton McKinley High School and was employed at Canton Auto Salvage as Yard Manager for over 16 years.
John enjoyed fishing and loved working on and racing cars.
Survivors include his two daughters, Melissa Leasure of Canton and Teresa (Dean) Winter of East Canton; his son, John F. (Danielle) Leasure IV of Minerva; eleven grandchildren, Christopher Neidert, Jason Neidert, Miranda Winter, Kyle Renz, Jorden Leasure, Ethan Leasure, Bryce Leasure, Dominic Leasure, Kenneth Winter, Jr., Aubriauna Shoenfelt and Nevaeh Leasure; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Cynthia L. McCauley of Canton; two brothers, Glenn A. Leasure of Canton and Timothy E. Leasure of Brigham City, UT; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a sister, Vicki A. Guthrie; and a brother, William C. Leasure.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 30, 2022 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. His Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 pm with Rev. David Storlie, of Southside Church of God, officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park.
