John Kuyper's Obituary
John B. Kuyper, 52, of Alliance, died on Saturday, January 28, 2006 at 12:45 a.m. at Aultman Hospital and has taken new residence in heaven. John was born in Salem on January 10, 1954, and has lived in Alliance most of his life. A graduate of United High School, he also attended the McKinley Mechanic School. Mr. Kuyper was employed at Cedar Valley Energy of Wooster and had worked in different capacities in the oil fields. A member of the First Baptist Church of Atwater, his pastimes included woodworking and bowling. He was a loving husband to his wife, Linda (Tasker) Kuyper; and was considered a devoted family man to his daughter, Carrie Lin Kuyper, and his son, Budd Benson Kuyper, both of Alliance. Also surviving are his parents; Herman and Madge (Woodburn) Kuyper of Lisbon; a brother, Larry Kuyper of Elkton, MD; and six nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the First Baptist Church of Atwater on Wednesday, February 1, 2006 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will begin at the church on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tim Black officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
