Joann R. (Perri) Sydor's Obituary
Joann R. (Perri) Sydor, 65, of Lehigh Acres, FL, passed away very suddenly in her home on December 7, 2006. Joann was born in Donora, Pennsylvania, on September 4, 1941 and was a resident of Minerva most of her life, until moving to Lehigh Acres two years ago. Joann was a member of the Elks Lodge, the Red Hat Society, the Lion s Club in Florida and Ohio, the Jayceetes, and the Garden club. She was a member and former Eucharistic Minister at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church while living in Minerva, and was as a parishioner at both St. Raphael s Catholic Church in Lehigh Acres and All Saints Byzantine Catholic Church in North Fort Myers, FL. Joann leaves behind her daughter, Renee Sydor of Minerva, OH; a brother, John Perri of FL; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Danny Sydor of FL; three sister-in-laws, Mary Ann Perri of OH, Arlene Perri of MI and Theresa Tokarski of OH; several nieces and nephews; and her "grand-doggies," Hogan and Bruno. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Marius M. "Pat" Sydor, who passed away on November 4, 2003; her parents, Raphael and Michela "Silvia" (Pistoria) Perri; and two brothers, Frank Perri and Nicholas E. Perri. The family will receive friends at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, 400 West High Street, Minerva, Ohio, on Saturday, December 16, 2006, from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Gabriel's on Saturday, December 16, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Victor P. Cinson as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Alliance, Ohio.
