I'm very thankful for the time I got to spend with Joan. She always had a smile and kind words. Even though I only had her every once in a while she remembered my name. She made an impression on me! She will be deeply missed!!

I learned Love, Laughter, Faith and Family Values and much more from my Grandpa and Grandma Bart , my mother Kay and my loving Auntie Joan. We had great times as children always together always loved.

Joan was one of the people I visited regularly at the community care Center. I was a volunteer chaplain until we had to stay away. Joanie and I prayed for each other constantly. She brightened so much just to see me come in the door that she made my heart sing. She was a woman of faith.When ever we come back to the hospital I will have this part of my heart missing. She cheered me and also had such a good time as we laughed together. I know that she had a lot of pain for quite a long time but she was very brave. I am going to miss her so much! I am not attending the funeral or calling hours just because of this virus. But I want the Family
to know what a wonderful person I treasured.
