I wish I were closer to alliance. My words are many as Joan and I talked many a night. Baseball , football, and sports in general were the topic. I will miss the good talks. I am sure she is in a beautiful place. Until we meet again . See you but not too soon. I will be watching sports as usual and thinking of all our phone calls we had together. I am sure you must be happy to see all people and animals of your past. Don’t forget Astro my best dog. He is just new to death but I am sure he is waiting for love.

Mike and I had a very special place in our heart for Joan. When Mike was transferred our son Matthew was to start his senior year and didn't want to leave his friends. Joan opened her home and heart to him so he could stay in Alliance with her. Living next door to Joan for 6 years, we knew Matt would be safe. God Bless you Joan, rest in peace, your loved.
