Jessie F. Wayt's Obituary
Jessie F. Wayt, 81, of Alliance died on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 6:05 p.m. at Alliance Community Hospital. She was born on December 5, 1926 in Irondale, and had lived in the Alliance area most of her life. She was a member of the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. Jessie is survived by two daughters, Sharon (Gary) Casher of Homeworth and Melissa (Jerry) Yost of Alliance; six sons, James (Linda) Wayt of Alliance, Dean (Ann) Wayt of East Canton, Mark (Donna) Wayt of WV, Darrell (Michele) Wayt of Rootstown, George (Judy) Wayt of Alliance and Terry (Beth) Wayt of Alliance; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, Claude and Faye (Close) Saunders; three sisters, Betty Metz, Thelma Lucas and Linda West; and three brothers, Gary, William and Hollis Saunders. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, May 23, 2008 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Highland Memorial Park Chapel on Saturday, May 24, 2008, at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Joseph A. Peters officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
