Jeramy J. Keane's Obituary
Jeramy J. Keane, 18, of Alliance, died on Monday, August, 29, 2011 at 1:20 p. m. in Akron City Hospital, as a result of an ATV accident. Born on March 8, 1993 in Alliance, he had lived in Alliance all of his life. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. A 2011 graduate of Alliance High School, Jeramy was a pitcher on their baseball team and also was a quarterback on their football team. He was a varsity player for all four years. In his past-time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery, and all sports. He enjoyed working in construction with his father and especially loved his nieces and nephew. Jeramy is survived by his parents, Jeff "Skilet" & Marjorie (Geist) Keane of Alliance; his grandfather, James Keane of Carrollton, OH; two brothers, Roger (Vonda) Rentz of Laguna Niguel, CA; Jesse (Holly) Keane of Tabor City, NC; two nieces, Elaine and Cassidy, and a nephew, Tucker; 21 Aunts & Uncles and 63 cousins. Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Marjorie (Groom) Keane, Kenneth W. Geist and Elaine Geist -Dreher. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, September 2, 2011, from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. and also on Saturday, Sept. 3, from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Matthew M. Mankowski, as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Alliance.
