Jenny M. (Chiporo) Borland's Obituary
Jenny Marjorie (Chiporo) Borland, 84, of Alliance, died on Wednesday, January 24, 2007, at 4:55 a.m. at her home. Born on January 16, 1923 in Alliance and she lived in Alliance her entire life. A member of Christ United Methodist Church, she was also a member of the Roma Society. Jenny retired from the Alliance Manufacturing Company, where she was employed as an inspector. She is survived by a daughter, Diana L. Lennenman of Caldwell, Idaho; a son, Gary D. Borland of Louisville; one granddaughter, Lonie Pettis of Caldwell, Idaho; three great grandchildren, Tim, Deven and Breanna; her sisters and brothers, Marjorie (Charles) Porter of Alliance, Thomas R. Chiporo of Parma, Patricia A. (Joseph) Virden of Alliance and Larry D. Chiporo of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Earl Borland on December 27, 1999, whom she married on June 16, 1943; her parents, Salvatore and Rose F. (Perry) Chiporo; a sister, Christina Sayers; and a brother, Sam T. Chiporo. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Saturday, January 27, 2007, from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Saturday, January 27, 2007, at 10:00 a.m., with the Rev. Hugh E. Hookway, Jr., Pastor of Christ United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
