Jennifer Kay (Agnew) Clayton's Obituary
Jennifer Kay (Agnew) Clayton, 43, of 22253 Courtney Rd., Alliance, died on Friday, September 05, 2003 at 6:29 a.m. at Aultman Hospital in Canton. Born in Alliance on February 13, 1960, she was a resident of Alliance all of her life. She was a 1978 Graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School and a 1983 Graduate of Mount Union College where she received a BA Degree in Education. Mrs. Clayton was a teacher at United Local School District for 19 years and had taught 2nd grade special education. She was a member of the National and Ohio Education Associations and the UEA. Reading and gardening were among Jennifer's favorites pastimes as well as caring for animals. She had written many children's books of which one is currently being published. She is survived by her husband, Corey Scott Clayton, (they were married on September 22, 1984; her parents, William and Jennie (Comsia) Agnew of Alliance; a sister, Sandra Kay (Delmas) Schock of Mentor; and a niece, Trisha Kay Schock of Fairport Harbor, Ohio. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Sunday, September 7, 2003, from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 5:00 p.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht, officiating. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
