Jennie (Marazza) Rasile's Obituary
Jennie (Marazza) Rasile, 90, of Alliance, died on Sunday, April 23, 2006, at 7:45 a.m. at Bel Air Senior Living Community. A lifelong resident of Alliance, Jennie was born on April 20, 1916. Mrs. Rasile was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the former Ladies of the Christopher Columbus Society. She retired from the Alliance Manufacturing Co. Jennie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and her love was her family. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. She is survived by four sons, John (Jodene) Rasile of Alliance, Richard (Marlena) Rasile of Alliance, Dennis (Linda) Rasile of Sebring, and Gary (Cleo) Rasile of Homeworth; eight grandchildren, John, Cheryl, Maria, Jacqulin, Rick, Robin, MacKenzie, and Ryan; several great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; two sisters, Yolanda Rasile of Garfield Heights, and Dorothy Castellucci of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Rasile on July 24, 1984, (they were married on October 19, 1935); her parents, Anerio and Angelina (Carosi) Marazza; and two brothers, James and Dominic Marazza. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, April 27, 2006, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday, April 28, 2006, at 9:30 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht as celebrant. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
