Jeffrey P. Stuchell 's Obituary
Jeffrey P. Stuchell, 57, of Canton, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 25, 2015 at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio.
Born on January 9, 1958 in Salem, Ohio to Jimmy B. and Joann L. (Folk) Stuchell, he lived in Sebring for most of his life.
A 1976 graduate of West Branch High School, Jeffrey was involved with family business in the 1970's, Club 21 Skating Rink/Ballroom, Stuchell Excavating and Trucking, while working at the Crane Company full time. In the 1980's, he was co-owner of Economy Services, which was contracted to make apparel for the Military & was the recipient of the 1983 "Employer of the Year" award from the Private Industry Council of Youngstown, OH. Jeff became a contracted Mail Hauler for the U.S. Postal Service during the early 1990's thru the early 2000's, where he continued to drive truck for various companies.
Jeffrey enjoyed watching sports, spending time with his children and grandchildren and traveling, especially to Las Vegas.
Jeff loved being a father, but often said that there was nothing as comparable to being a “Papa” to his grandsons. His family and all that knew him, could attest that he was a great, generous and loving father to his girls.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nancy L. (Long) Stuchell; two daughters, Jennifer L. (Brent "Breeze") Stuchell-Mathies of North Benton, OH, Jacquelyn J. (Darryl) Stuchell of Sebring, OH; two grandsons, Aidan J. Stuchell and Jordan P. Mathies; brother, James L. Stuchell of Sebring, OH; two sisters, Jeri (Gary) Thompson of Lake Milton, OH, JoEllen Bell of Maui, HI; and extended family including: Charlotte Gooden, Jeff, Mann, Tiffany, Cassie and Kendrick; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his father, Jimmy B. Stuchell; and his mother, Joann L. Stuchell-Yates.
The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm. His Funeral Service will begin at 4:00 pm, with Pastor Rick Sams, of Alliance Friends Church, officiating.
