Jean Elizabeth DiLoreto's Obituary
Jean Elizabeth DiLoreto, 68, of Alliance, died on Friday, September 16, 2005, at 8:20 p.m. at Mercy Medical Center of Canton. She was born in Alliance on February 23, 1937, and had lived here all of her life. Mrs. DiLoreto was a long-time member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Church. She was involved in many of the church s teachings, including the Relief Society, the nursery and as a primary teacher. She is survived by four daughters, Sharon L. Bell of Salt Lake City, UT, Sandy K. Hall of Alliance, Mary K. (Brian) Presutti of Alliance, and April J. Russell of Alliance; two sons, Harvey G. (Judy) Russell, Jr. of Colorado Springs, CO and Michael R. (Rhonda) Russell of Alliance; seventeen grandchildren; a twin brother, Jerry Fording of the Bahamas; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Pete DiLoreto, on June 26, 2002; her parents, Lloyd Fording and Kathryn (Fox) Stroup; a sister, Frances McCain and two brothers, Lloyd Fording Jr. and Robert Fording. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 21, 2005, from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Bishop Richard Dutson officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
