Jane L. New's Obituary
Jane L. New, 91, of Sebring, died on Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at Alliance Community Hospital. She was born on April 15, 1920 in Copley, OH, and lived in Canton, Malvern and Beloit all of her life. A graduate of Marlboro High School, mother was a member of the Canton Garden Club and the Marlington Alumni Association. She was the most wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, and her family was her life. In her past-time, she enjoyed cooking, gardening, and special occasions with her grandchildren. Jane is survived by her daughter, Lorraine (Barbara Etess) New of Pasadena, CA; her sons, Michael J. ( Colleen) New of Huron, OH, Gregory (Francine) New of Beloit, Robert (George Glander) New of Pasadena, CA; and Daughter, Stacey (Robert Arnold) New of Bennington, VT; six grandchildren, Andrew, Julie, Micky, Molly, Charlie and Dena; sister-in-law, Rene Connor of N. Canton; sister, Irene De Hart of New Baltimore; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Michael J. New, Jr., whom she married on December 9, 1944 and had enjoyed 67 happy years together; her parents, Michael and Elizabeth (Urban) Boldizsar; five sisters and brothers. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, August 5, 2011 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Memorial services will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Rod Doran of the Community Bible Church officiating.
