James L. Richards' Obituary
James L. Richards, 81, of Louisville, passed on Friday, January 20, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. at Mercy Medical Center following an extended illness. Born on March 19, 1930 in Alliance, he lived in the Alliance and Louisville areas all of his life. Mr. Richards retired from the J.T. Nist Nursing Home in 1994. In his past-time, he enjoyed sports, animals, and history. Survivors include his former wife, Pamela Richards of Louisville; a son, Jason Richards of Louisville; a daughter, Jaime (Bill) Page of Canton; two grandchildren, Jason and Maddy Richards; one brother, Jack Richards of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, Albert C. and Irene (Lewis) Richards; and two brothers, William and Albert. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, January 27, 2012 from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Joe Peters officiating. Interment will follow at Alliance City Cemetery.
