James "Jim" McMullen's Obituary
James "Jim" McMullen, 60, of Sebring, died on July 3, 2008, at 3:20 p.m. at his home following a lengthy illness. He was born on June 21, 1948 in Ravenna, and lived in the Alliance and Sebring areas for the past 35 years. Jim enjoyed putting together models and watching movies. He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Verh) McMullen whom he married on December 5, 1973; a daughter, Doris (Keith) Kiser of Alliance; two sons, Jim (Connie) McMullen of Sebring and Virgil (Tina) McMullen of Beloit; grandchildren, Destiny (Ben) Snodgrass, Rebekah and Isaac Kiser, Tiffany, Amber, Diamonte, Nikita , Ryan and Zach McMullen; one great-grandson, Hunter Snodgrass; his step-mother, Connie McMullen of Brady Lake, OH; a sister, Becky Tymico of Deerfield; six brothers, Terry McMullen of Brady Lake, OH, Walter "Pete" McMullen of Florida, Tom McMullen of Brady Lake, OH, William "Bill" McMullen of Brady Lake, OH, Dave McMullen of Indiana and Rick McMullen, Sr. of Rootstown; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceding him in death was his granddaughter, Sarah Jo Kiser; his parents, James and Maxine (Jones) McMullen; grandparents, James and Mildred McMullen and Raymond and Cyble Jones; and a brother, Robert McMullen. A memorial gathering will be held at the Alliance Freewill Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 731 Buckey Ave, Alliance, Ohio on Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Grandview Cemetery in Sebring.
