James C. King's Obituary
James C. King, 66, of Alliance, died peacefully with his family at his side on Monday, December 6, 2004 following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Wheeling, West Virginia, on November 6, 1938, he lived most of his life in Alliance. A member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, he retired from the Timken Company in 1999 after 40 years of service. Mr. King was also a United States Marine Corps veteran. He is survived by his wife, Lois J. (Basil) King, (whom he married on June 18, 1960); a son, James J. (Belinda) King of Sebring; two daughters, Christine (John) Rasile of Alliance and Rebecca (Michael) Flinn of Alliance; seven grandchildren, Jimmy, Jeremy, Tia, Gina, Danielle, Max and Molly; and two great-grandchildren, Dayna and Evan. He was preceded in death by his father, Chester King; his mother, Lena (Retta) Flaherty; and a sister, Eileen King. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church. There will be no calling hours. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
