James C. Johnson's Obituary
James C. Johnson, 67, of Alliance, died on Thursday, June 15, 2006, at the Arbors of Canton. He was born in Alliance on February 20, 1939 and lived most of his life in Alliance. In his youth, Mr. Johnson was a member of the First Christian Church. He retired from San Cap Abrasives in Alliance. He is survived by three daughters, Melinda, Laura and Tammy; three sons, James Jr., Herbie and Tommy; five sisters, Esther Rogers of Alliance, Dorothy Price of Alliance, Katherine E. Jackson of Alliance, Elaine Bickley of Florida and Laura Severnce of Florida; six brothers, Oscar J. Johnson of Youngstown, Melvin Bickley Jr., of Alliance, Guy Bickley of Youngstown, Russell Henderschott of Florida, Norman Bickley of Alliance, and Michael Mulac of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Johnson and Mary C. (Thompson) Johnson-Bickley; one sister, Anna Mae Bickley; and three brothers, Charles W. Johnson, John Bickley and Herbert Bickley. Private funeral services will be held and there will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home, 1000 S. Union Avenue, Alliance, Ohio 44601.
