James "Jim" Hagge's Obituary
James “Jim” Hagge, 74, of Alliance, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 7:20 pm at Alliance Community Hospital.
Born on August 4, 1942 in Alliance, Ohio to Joseph and Blanche (Waskovich) Hagge, he lived in Alliance for all of his life.
A 1960 graduate of Alliance High School, Jim was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church.
Jim was a carpenter by trade and was later employed at Filnor, Inc., as a Shop Supervisor, where he retired after 30 years of service. He was a social member of Christopher Columbus Society and the William Penn Club.
Jim enjoyed vacationing at the beach, summertime cookouts with the family, listening to music, woodworking and spending Christmas time with friends and family.
Survivors include his wife, Lois J. (LeForte) Hagge, whom he married on April 16, 1966; four children, Gregory S. (Tammy) Hagge of Alliance, Jody M. (Scott) Stallsmith of Alliance, Marc A. (Nickie) Hagge of San Antonio, TX, Dawn M. (Shannon) Dennis of Alliance; eight grandchildren, Matthew, Steven, Elizabeth, Jeffrey, Jonathan, Shelby, Shannon Jr., Kyleigh; nine great-grandchildren, Noah, Madelyn, Kendall, Rowan, Payton, Savanna, Tanner, William, Mason; four sisters, Patty (Don) Buck of Alliance, Joann (Richard) Ramser of Alliance, Mary Catherine (David) DeBee of Alliance, Cookie Neely of Alliance; brother, John (Cindy) Catich of Sebring; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Joseph and Blanche Hagge-Catich; first wife, Sandy (Forbush) Hagge; step-father, Pete Catich; and his brother-in-law, Ron Neely.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 21, 2016 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 10:00 am at Regina Coeli Catholic Church, with Rev. Joseph Ruggieri, as celebrant. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
