James W. "Jim" Ferguson's Obituary
James W. "Jim" Ferguson, 70, of Alliance, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2012 at Alliance Community Hospital. Born on April 1, 1941 in Alliance, he lived in Alliance all of his life. An Alliance High School graduate, Jim retired from the Genie Company, where he was employed as a supervisor. Mr. Ferguson was a member of several ham radio clubs and also enjoyed riding motorcycles. Survivors include his two brothers, Clyde "Tiny" (Cindy) Ferguson of Alliance and Eugene (Sandy) Ferguson of North Benton; and several aunts, uncles and nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, Clyde and Elizabeth (Handshuh) Ferguson. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. His funeral service will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, March 22, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Paul Dykshoorn of Alliance Christian Center officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
