James Edward "Ernie" Ehrlinspiel's Obituary
James Edward "Ernie" Ehrlinspiel, 57, of Alliance, died on Tuesday, December 24, 2002 at 4:25 a.m. at his home. Born in Alliance on August 16, 1945, he had lived in Alliance all of his life, graduating from Alliance High School and attending Mt. Union College. A veteran of the U. S. Army, he served in Vietnam from 1968-1970 and was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America. He was employed at Persky's Sparkle Market for 25 years and then employed at Tru-Cut Automotive in Salem for 14 years where he was a shipping and receiving foreman. Survivors include his wife, Kendra (Cade) Ehrlinspiel whom he married on August 26, 1977; a son, Bryan Christopher B.C. Ehrlinspiel of Alliance; a brother and sister-in- law, Richard and Virginia Ehrlinspiel of Shreveport, LA; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, Carl and Cecilia (Erisey) Ehrlinspiel; and a brother, Carl Ehrlinspiell, II. Private funeral services will be held. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 28, 2002, from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the College Inn for a celebration of his life. Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
