James Richard "Jimmy" Conner's Obituary
James Richard "Jimmy" Conner, age 50, passed from this life to eternal life on Friday, January 11, 2008. Jimmy was born August 26, 1957, in Alliance where he lived all of his life. He was a 1976 graduate of Alliance High School. Jimmy was an avid supporter of his beloved Alliance Aviators, serving as the manager for the team during his high school years and later as a loyal fan. He also loved the Mt. Union Purple Raiders. Known as "The Karaoke King," Jimmy enjoyed singing karaoke and being with people. His positive nature was an inspiration and example to all who knew him. Jimmy is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Walt and Cindy Conner of Ashland, VA and Ron and Diane Conner of Mineral City; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Glen Campbell of Medina; and many loving and deeply loved nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Saturday, January 19, 2008 from 3:00 -4:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Saturday, January 19, 2008, at 4:00 p.m. with the Rev. Jeff Gindlesberger of Lakemore United Methodist Church officiating.
