James L. Bussie 's Obituary
James L. Bussie, 65, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 4:30 a.m. in Alliance.
Born on September 10, 1950 in Alliance, to Joseph and Anna (Furin) Bussie, he lived in Alliance for all of his life and was a 1968 graduate Marlington High School.
James was a truck driver all of his life and was currently employed at Big Dawg Trucking in Minerva for the past 7 years.
He was a member of American Legion, Post 166 Alliance and the Sunday Morning Golf League at Sleepy Hollow.
James enjoyed golfing, Nascar racing, working on cars, and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include wife, Sharon (Shook) Bussie, whom he married on August 10, 1986; three sons, Jason D. (Mandy) Kirsch of Cuyahoga Falls, Mark (Tracy) Higgins of Sebring and Chris (Lori) Milligan of Doyelstown; his daughter, Amanda (Joe) Royal of Alliance; a sister, Nancy Bodo of Alliance; 9 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two sons, Matthew Bussie and Richard Kirsch, Jr.; a sister, Jean Goodwin; and his mother-in-law, Pauline Spinelli.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 20, 2016 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
