Jack Lee Worley 's Obituary
Jack Lee Worley, 83, of Beloit, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016.
Born on March 23, 1933 in Alliance, to George and Evelyn (Merganthaler) Worley, he lived in Beloit for most of his life.
A veteran of the Korean War, he served our country in the U.S. Army.
Jack was a self-employed brick layer and was owner and driver of J & E Trucking Company.
Jack enjoyed gardening, fishing, and repairing tractors.
Survivors include five children, Jackie (Bill) Wallace of Salem, Tammy Lowry of PA, Mark Worley of Sandusky, Glenn Worley of Alliance, and Melissa (John) Chaffin of Salem; three step-children, Debbie Riesen of Beloit, Jerry (Joyce) Koerner of Canton and Terry (Elaine) Koerner of Alliance; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; six sisters, Jeanie, Sherry, Debbie, Lori, Gina and Terry; three brothers, Denny, Jason and Jeff; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Edith K. Worley, whom he married on February 14, 1981 and who died on May 28, 2014; his son, Dana Worley; his parents; and two brothers, Ronald and Richard.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. His Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am with Rev. Ed Harnish, officiating. Burial, with military honors, will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park.
