Jack Van Camp 's Obituary
John F. "Jack" Van Camp, 71, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 2:54 pm at Aultman Hospital.
Born on March 17, 1945 in Marlboro, Ohio to Bruce and Dolores Van Camp, he lived in Alliance area for most of his life.
John was employed at Union Metals in Canton as a welder and was a veteran of the Korean War, serving our country in the U.S. Army.
Jack enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his son, Bryan (Connie) Van Camp of Alliance; his companion, Sandra Van Camp of Alliance; three grandchildren, Casey McDaniel, Tyler McDaniel and Madison Van Camp; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; three brothers; and one sister.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm at the Alliance Church of the Nazarene, with Rev. Budd Kuyper officiating.
