Jack S. "Two-to-Lou" Anderson's Obituary
Jack S. "Two-to-Lou" Anderson, 71, of Alliance, died on Tuesday, May 16, 2006, at 11:05 a.m. at Community Care Center. Jack was born in Canton on January 15, 1935 and lived most of his life in the Alliance area. He was a graduate of Marlboro High School. A United States Army veteran, Jack was a member of the VFW and American Legion. Mr. Anderson attended Maranatha Church of God. He had worked at Morgan Engineering Co. and then retired from Alliance Structural as a welder. An avid euchre player, "Two-to-Lou" was a member of the Roma Society, the Wm. Penn Club, and the Fraternal Order of Police Assoc. Mr. Anderson is survived by a son, Lt. Greg S. (Rose) Anderson of Alliance; two granddaughters, Wendie Anderson and Jonah Anderson; a great-granddaughter, Danielle Anderson; his companion, Joyce Brandt of Alliance; three sisters, Joanne Price of Hartville, Joyce (Jack) Sholtis of North Canton, and Penny (Joe) Shanower of Shreve, OH; five brothers, Melvin Anderson of Alliance, Bill Anderson of Uniontown, Ronnie (Alice) Anderson of Alliance, Randy Anderson of Newcomerstown, and Scott Anderson of Hartville; several nieces and nephews; and several cousins from Ohio and Hesperia, MI. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Theresa Lynn Anderson; his parents, Melvin and Catherine (Miller) Anderson, Sr.; and three brothers, Jerry, Abe, and Mickey Anderson. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, May 19, 2006, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, May 20, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Chester Bryant of the Maranatha Church of God officiating. Interment, with military honors provided by the Alliance American Legion Post 166 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1036, will follow at the Alliance City Cemetery.
