Irene L. (Lelesch) Panelley's Obituary
Irene L. (Lelesch) Panelley, of Alliance, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2002 at the Community Care Center, after a lingering illness of diabetes. Born in Maximo on January 17, 1927, she has been a resident of Alliance most of her life and attended Alliance High School. She moved to California in 1965, retiring from Industrial Printers of Santa Ana. She returned to Alliance from Tustin, Ca. in 1991. Survived by a daughter, Joan D. Alter and good friend, Bill Landry of Yorba Linda, Ca.; two sisters, Mrs. Homer (Ida) Henderson of Alliance, and Mrs. Harry (Elsie) Kessopulos of Louisville; many nieces and nephews; and a good friend, Linda Latimore of Columbia, MD. Preceding her in death were her parents, Charles F. and Lousia M. (Byers) Lelesch; four sisters; and one brother. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Saturday, August 24, 2002, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. the hour of service. The Rev. Gordon Ruggles, Pastor of the Union Avenue United Methodist Church will officiate. Cremation will follow after the service.
