Inez Liberty Ciotti's Obituary
Inez Liberty Ciotti, 95, of Alliance passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 11:55 p.m. at her home. Born on June 28, 1917 in Glenco, OH, she lived in Alliance most of her life. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and had previously been employed at Strong Enamel Co. In her past-time, she enjoyed cooking and cleaning her home, but especially loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Nancy (Charles) Vardon of Akron, OH, Carol (Roger) Hahn of Norton, OH, John (Linda) Ciotti of Alliance, Debra Lightfritz of Canton, OH; 10 grandchildren, especially Johnny Anthony Ciotti, who was Inez s caretaker for 15 years; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Hugo Ciotti on April 11, 1978; her parents, Giovanni and Annuntuorsa (Bellotti) Christofori ; three sisters, Edith Zaina, Mary Karnofel, and Emma Province; and one brother, Angelo Bondi. A special thank you to her aids, Sally & Angela and also to Crossroads Hospice, who were at her side for the past several days. The family will receive friends at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Monday, June 3, 2013, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Matthew M. Mankowski as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
