Ilean (Rice) Dudek's Obituary
Ilean (Rice) Dudek, 83, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 13, 2014 at 1:35 am at Alliance Community Hospital. She was born on April 7, 1931 in Campbell County Virginia to Lewis Earl and Mary Elizabeth (Dunaway) Rice and lived in Alliance for most of her life. Ilean was a member of the Maranantha Church of God and retired from De-con after 25 years of service. She enjoyed cooking, but especially loved time with her family. Ilean is survived by her two daughters, Jeanette G. (Herbert) Hamlett of Appomattox, VA, and Mary Ann (Warren) Price of Alliance, OH; two sons, Kenneth M. (Alice) Crews of Nathalie, VA, and Bob (Tracy) Peshek of Alliance, OH; step-son, Phillip (Mary) Dudek of Alliance, OH; two step-daughters, Jill (LeRoy) Moriuchi of NC, and Ann (Mike) Bartels of Boulder, CO; 21 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Beatrice Hanning of Laughlin, NV, Margaret Drennen of Sebring, OH, Doris Johnson of Beloit, OH, Jean Householder of Sebring, OH; brother, Pete (Lucille) Rice of North Benton, OH; her brother-in-law, Danny Dudek of Toledo, OH; and many nieces and nephews. Holding a special place in her heart were Nataley Cintron, Aubrie Lunsford and her special "Honey", Seirra Cathey She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Frank Dudek, whom she married on July 12, 1981 and died on September 9, 2011; father, Lewis Earl Rice; mother, Mary Elizabeth Rice; three sisters, Frances Rice, Evelyn Debolt, Morlean Harvey; two brothers, Junior Rice, Ed Rice. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am. Funeral Service will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 11:00 am, with Pastor Jeff Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Special thanks to Alliance Community Hospital, Alliance Hospice and the Sterling House of Alliance for their special care-giving.
