Hugh H. Lee's Obituary
Hugh H. Lee, 79, of Alliance, died on Saturday, August 14, 2010, at 12:10 a.m. at his home. Mr. Lee was born on April 30, 1931, in Gainsboro, TN, and lived in Alliance most of his life. A U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Lee retired from the Chrysler Stamping Plant in Twinsburg, where he was employed as a forklift driver for 31 years. Hugh was a member of the Sleepy Hollow Country Club and liked to golf, fish, and travel. He especially loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Ida M. Lee whom he married on August 17, 1954; three daughters, Charlene (Bill) Arnal of Alliance, Barbara (John) Twyman of Alliance, and Lori Lee of Canton; three sons, Michael Lee, Richard Lee, and Paul (Kathy) Lee, all of Alliance; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren: two sisters, Mildred Shanks of Allen Park, MI and Sue McConnell of Lincoln Park, MI; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, Charlie and Bessie (Ramsey) Lee; and a sister, Mary Jo Hicks. Private Services will be held. There are no calling hours.
