Hilda I. Deack's Obituary
Hilda I. Deack, 66, of Alliance, died on Thursday, January 11, 2007, at 9:46 p.m. at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio. Born on May 3, 1940 in Salineville, Ohio, she lived in Alliance most of her life. Hilda retired from the Ferro Corporation in Sebring after 26 years of service. Hilda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She leaves behind her husband of 41 years of marriage, Nicholas Deack; two daughters, Marcia (Gene) Barkan of Coco Beach, FL and Carrie (Terry) Wareham of Sebring; one son, Gary N. Deack of Alliance; six grandchildren, Michael, Kristie, Brian, Justin, Sydney and Nicholas; one great grandchild, Draven; four sisters, Bertha Briggs of Tatum, New Mexico, Margaret Briggs of Beloit, Ruth Griffith of Beloit and Joann Herbert of Alliance; three brothers, Tom Elliott of North Canton, Paul V. Dickson, Jr., of Alliance, and Howard Dickson of Mansfield, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, Paul and Mary (Hill) Dickson, Sr. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Sunday, January 14, 2007, from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Joseph A. Peters, officiating.
