My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Helen was so special and will be missed so much by many. She was a loyal friend. We knew each other as our parents were friends, but when I went to work at Economy Savings & Loan on Main St. right out of high school, Helen was working there and we became fast, close friends. We ate lunch together every day and sometimes shopped at the clothes shops on Main St if we had extra time. There was a group of six or seven of us and we were compatible and good friends, and we were on the go constantly - Canton Players Guild - Alliance Symphony - lots of dinners and lunches at Friendlys and Heggys and Shaffers Diner. Lulu and Helen and I decided to go on a bike ride- first and last - as Helen got "dragged" by a car on Watson. She had no major injuries but it was scary and my mom stayed the night with her. I always have memories of you, Helen, salting your hamburg between each bite as you ate it. I always remember my dad saying when he would deliver your family's groceries, you and your brothers would always have music playing and be dancing. I think he said your mom was at work! You were such a wonderful and caring friend to me and my kids when Ron died. The 4th of July cookouts with Lulu doing the cooking and she was a great cook! Nikki remembers staying with Helen and playing Hungry, Hungry, Hippo and other games! You will always be in my heart and I loved you and your friendship meant everything to me. Rest in peace. Linda
