Helen Weibel's Obituary
Helen (Shasho) Weibel, 90, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 14, 2022 at her home in Alliance, Ohio.
Born on June 10, 1932 in Youngstown, to Alek and Catherine (Estock) Shasho, she lived in Alliance most of her life.
Helen was a member of Alliance Baptist Temple and the Alliance Senior Center.
She graduated high school with honors and was employed at SanCap as a press operator until retirement.
Helen enjoyed fishing and boating with her husband and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her son, James (Trisha) Weibel of Sebring; her daughter, Kathy (Dave) Courtney of North Benton; four grandchildren, Rachel (Nathan), David (Samantha), Rebecca, and Michael (Carrie); six great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, Lucas, Braden, Chase, Leah and Norah; four sisters, Sandy, Joanne "Yovi", Gerry and Anne; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Jimmie W. Weibel, whom she married on September 29, 1951 and who died on January 20, 2009; her parents; four sisters, Martha, Violet, Patsy and Tootsie; and three brothers, Mikey, Charles and Junie.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 21, 2022 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. Her Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am with Rev. Randy Payne, of Alliance Baptist Temple, officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Alliance City Cemetery.
