Helen E. Koch's Obituary
Helen E. Koch, 77, of Alliance, died on Thursday, May 20, 1999 at 4:38 a.m. at Alliance Community Hospital. She was born on July 3, 1921 in Canton and was a 1939 graduate of Louisville High School and had lived in Alliance for most of her life. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Alliance. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW, and various area women s card clubs. Survivors include her husband, Edward C. Koch Sr., of the home, whom she married on Sept. 28, 1940; a daughter, Karen Abney of Alliance, Ohio; a son, Edward C. Koch Jr. of Alliance, Ohio; 2 grandsons; a brother, Nick Keszeg of Canton, Ohio; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Helen Elizabeth (Sagi) Keszeg; and a sister, Kathryn Smith. Calling Hours will be held at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Sunday, from 7-9 p.m. and on Monday from 12-1 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, May 24, 1999 at 1:00 p.m. The Rev. Dr. William J. Sadler and the Rev. S. James Kocsis of the First United Presbyterian Church of Alliance will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit, Ohio.
