Helen Dalesandro's Obituary
Helen Dalesandro, 84, of Alliance, died on Friday, July 15, 2005, at 6:10 a.m. at McCrea Manor. Born in Alliance on May 21, 1921, Mrs. Dalesandro lived in the Alliance area all of her life, and was a self-employed beautician. She was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Helen is survived by two sons, Dominic (Jean) Dalesandro Jr. of Alliance, and James (Carole) Dalesandro of Beloit; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary May of Canton; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Achim "Jim" and Eva (Streza) Popa; and one brother, John Popa. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, July 18, 2005, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. The funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht officiating. Internment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
