Helen M. Beall's Obituary
Helen M. Beall, 80, of Alliance, died on Monday, March 31, 2008 at 2:10 p.m. at her home. She was born on September 16, 1927 in Athens County, Ohio, and lived in Hanoverton most of her life, recently moving to Alliance. Helen was a member of the New Garden Methodist Church in Hanoverton and the Hanoverton Garden Club. Mrs. Beall was an avid quilt maker, and enjoyed sewing, cooking, listening to music and loved flowers. Helen is survived by her two daughters, Daisy Sharon (Daniel) Sharkey of Alliance and Deborah Anne (Paul) Bochnewich of Danbury, CT; a son, David Madison (Melody) Beall, Jr. of Doyline, LA; 11 grandchildren, April, Angelia, David, Jennifer, David, Joanna, Casey, Danny, Marianne, Lauren and Matthew; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; two sisters, Donna Mead of Lorena, TX and Phyllis (Darrel) Miller of Belpre; a brother, Russell Grimm of Gainesville, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, David M. Beall, Sr. on September 9, 1997 whom she married on February 2, 1946; her parents, Charles and Bernice (Lonas) Grimm; and two brothers, Charles and Richard Grimm. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, April 3, 2008 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Rockland Cemetery in Belpre, OH on Friday, April 4, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Paul Dykshoorn of Alliance Christian Center officiating. Interment will follow at Rockland Cemetery.
