Harry J. Mazzei 's Obituary
Harry John Mazzei, 84, of Alliance, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 6:30 am at Altercare of Alliance. Born on October 16, 1932 in Alliance, Ohio to Pasquale and Mary (Butchelli) Mazzei, he lived in Alliance all of his life, and was a 1951 graduate of Alliance High School.
A veteran of the Korean War, he served our country in the U.S. Army and was a graduate of the 5th Army Area Food Service School in 1953.
Harry was retired in 1982 from Transue & Williams after many years of service and was a Life Member of the Dante Alighieri Society.
Harry enjoyed watching western movies, gardening, and loved animals.
Survivors include his sister, Flora Howell of Alliance; a brother, Joe (Linda) Mazzei of Myrtle Beach, SC; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two sisters, Esther V. Mazzei and Rose Manera; and a brother, Pete Mazzei.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
Private Family Services will be held. Burial will be in Alliance City Cemetery.
