Harriet Jane "Shorty" Clayton's Obituary
Harriet Jane "Shorty" Clayton, 77, of Alliance, died on Monday, September 19, 2005, at 2:30 a.m. at Aultman Hospital of Canton. She was born in Alliance on December 14, 1927, and had lived here all of her life. Mrs. Clayton was a graduate of Alliance High School and retired from Keener Rubber Co. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, various crafts, bird watching and her dog, Nemo. She is survived by two daughters, Rikki J. Clayton and Kerry J. Clayton; two sons, William M. Clayton and Corey S. Clayton, all of Alliance; one granddaughter, Michelle R. Moore of Dellroy, Ohio; one sister, June Tatsch of Alliance; and one brother, Frank Sutcliffe of Salem. Preceding her in death was a brother, Raymond Sutcliffe. Private funeral services will be held. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are being handled by the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
