Harold Peate's Obituary
Harold "Pete" Peate, 95, of Alliance, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 1:05 pm at The Roush House in Homeworth.
Born on August 25, 1927 in Alliance, to Harold and Ellen (Oyster) Peate, he lived in Alliance all of his life.
Harold was employed at Alliance Ware for over 30 years.
He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his daughter, Shelley Speakman of Grove City; three sons, Dennis Peate of Sebring, Roger M. (Gina) Peate of Alliance and Christopher J. (Sandy) Peate of Canton; three granddaughters, Raquel Speakman, Tiffany Peate and Jessica Peate; two grandsons, Shawn Fitzelle and Kaleb Peate; six great-grandchildren; his sister, Jerri; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death was his wife of 55 years, LaVonda (Wolfe) Peate; his parents; his sisters, Sandy and Velma; and a brother, Ronald.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 14, 2022 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. His Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park.
