Gregory M. Fraraccio's Obituary
Gregory M. Fraraccio, 60, of Alliance, died on Sunday, December 18, 2005 at 4:42 p.m. at Alliance Community Hospital. A lifelong resident of Alliance, he was born on February 12, 1945. An Alliance High School graduate, Gregory was a member of the 1962-1963 Alliance Aviators football team. He received All Ohio Honorable Mention as a lineman and tackle for the team. He attended Simpson College in Iowa and Gregory was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians, Browns, and Cavaliers. Mr. Fraraccio retired from American Steel Foundries as a timekeeper after 30 years of service. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, B.P.O. Elks, and a social member of the VFW. Gregory is survived by his wife, Lenna K. (Addams) Fraraccio whom he married on June 10, 1967; two daughters, Amy Jo (Kevin) Davey of Westlake and Jennifer Fraraccio of Alliance; two grandchildren, Jillian K. Fraraccio and Owen M. Davey; three brothers, William E. Fraraccio of Alliance, Mark S. (Kathy) Fraraccio of St. Louis, MO, and David F. (Jan) Fraraccio of Alliance; mother-in-law, Byrde Addams; and many nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his granddaughter who called him "GaGa." He was preceded in death by his grandson, Anthony Leonard Davey; his parents, William and Mary (Mazzaferro) Fraraccio; two brothers, James Fraraccio and infant, Paul David Fraraccio; and his beloved dog, Bernie. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, December 22, 2005, from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. and on Friday, December 23, 2005, from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday, December 23, 2005, at 12:00 noon with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht as celebrant. Internment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
