Grace J. Azzocchi's Obituary
Grace J. Azzocchi, 92, of Alliance, died on Saturday, March 1, 2008, at 6:07 a.m. at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring. A life member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, she was a member of the St. Joseph s Women s Guild and the Roma Society. Grace served as secretary for St. Joseph Catholic Church for 42 years, having served for five monsignors, including pastors Alfred J. Manning, Adelbert Cook, John Cunningham, John Finnigan and Frank Carfagna. She was employed by the former Boston Store and Harle's Garment Factory. Grace was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians and loved classical music. She also enjoyed attending concerts & plays and helping others whenever she could. Survivors include two nieces, Barbara Artino and Suzanne (George) Dennis, both of Alliance; two nephews, Robert V. (Corrine) Artino of North Canton, and Richard R. (Cindy) Artino of Hudson; several great nieces & nephews; a cousin, Rev. Fr. Joseph Cappelletti of Painsville; and her brother-in-law, Virgil "Red" Artino of Alliance. Preceding her in death were her parents, Angelo and Fulvia (Onorati) Azzocchi; and her sister, Lena B. Artino. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht and Rev. Fr. Joseph Cappelletti, as con-celebrants. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
