Gloria "Kay" King's Obituary
Gloria "Kay" King, 59, of Alliance, died on Wednesday, February 14, 2007, at 11:05 a.m. at Aultman Hospital in Canton. Kay was born on April 10, 1947 in Alliance and lived here for all of her life. A 1965 graduate of Alliance High School, she had been employed at Robertson Heating & Supply Co. Credit Department for 28 years. Kay and her husband are members of Stockers & Streeters Car Club in Minerva. She thoroughly enjoyed going to their meetings and attending many different car shows in the area. She enjoyed cooking, reading and spending time with her family and friends. Her family and especially her grandchildren were the loves of her life. She leaves behind her husband, Timothy W. King, whom she married on December 10, 1965; a daughter, Wendy (Tom) Caserta of Alliance; a son, Tony (Chris) King of Alliance; and four grandchildren, Corey King, Makenzi King, Celeste Caserta and Nina Caserta. Preceding her in death were her parents, William and Erma (Brooks) Helman. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Sunday, February 18, 2007, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, February 19, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Rick Sams, Pastor of Alliance Evangelical Friends Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
