Gloria Jean (Bertolini) Cotton 's Obituary
Gloria Jean (Bertolini) Cotton, of Canton, Ohio, passed away May 30, 2016 at the age of 79.
Gloria is predeceased by her beloved husband Atsey A. Cotton and brother, Fred Bertolini.
She is survived by her brother, Jerry Bertolini, sisters-in-law Sheryl and Linda, and four children, Teresa (Steve), Danette (Mark), Donna (Charles), and Marybeth (Dave).
A devoted and loved grandmother and great grandmother, Gloria dedicated 20 years of service to Gilmour Academy as Director of Residential Living where she cared for every child as if each were her own.
She has instilled in her family a love for soulful cooking, her passion for the Steelers, and how to outsmart any card shark. Every time the perfect pizzelle is pressed or a ravioli is rolled, she will be remembered fondly.
The family will host friends and loved ones on Friday, June 3, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
Her mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June, 4, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Reverend Father John Blazek of Gilmour Academy officiating. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
