Glenda M. (Zeller) Heestand's Obituary
Glenda M. (Zeller) Heestand, 74, of Homeworth, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 1:43 pm at Cleveland Clinic Foundation. She was born on August 1, 1939 in Alliance, Ohio to Willis F. and Kathryn (Grimes) Zeller and lived in Homeworth for most of her life. She was a member of Middle Sandy United Presbyterian Church. She was a 1957 graduate of Alliance High School and also a graduate from the former Riggs Lamar Beauty School in Akron. Glenda was the owner of the Stylette Beauty Salon and had been a beautician for most of her life. She was also the owner of the former Country Traveler Tours in Homeworth. Glenda enjoyed traveling, but she loved spending her time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her two sons, Keith Heestand of Homeworth, OH, and Bradford (Pam) Heestand of Canton, MI; daughter-in-law, Kim Heestand of Cincinnati, OH; three grandchildren, Katelane (Ahren) Kirschner of Cincinnati, OH, Carissa Heestand of Canton, MI, Kyle Heestand of Canton, MI; sister, Cheryl (James) Butler of Ft. Myers, FL; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Heestand, whom she married on June 15, 1957 and died on July 5, 2008; her son, William Heestand Jr., and her parents Willis F. and Kathryn (Grimes) Zeller. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
