Glen Mobley's Obituary
Glen Mobley, 91, of Alliance, passed away with his family by his side on Saturday, November 19, 2022 in Alliance, Ohio.
He was born on February 14, 1931 in Ibex, Kentucky to Clyde E. and Mary Gertrude (Whitt) Mobley.
Glen was employed at Monarch Rubber Co. and retired after 20 plus years of service.
He retired to Kentucky in 1992 and then moved back to Alliance to be with family in 2018.
A veteran of the Korean Conflict, he served our country as a Corporal in the U.S. Army and was a Military Policeman. He was an active member of the DAV in Kentucky.
Glen was an avid gardener and farmer and was dedicated to his family.  He was a devout Christian and belonged to a non-denominational home church.
Survivors include his two daughters, Annette (Jim) Greenwald of Alliance and Rhonda (Dan Holloway) Mobley of Alliance; his son, Kenneth (Linda Davis) Mobley of Alliance; six grandchildren, Rachael (Matt) Huntsman, Lauren Mobley, Logan Young, Alexandra (Chris) Wilson-Greenwald, Lindsey (Jeremy Townes) Young and Valerie Mobley; nine great-grandchildren, Draven Mobley, Andru Nile, Kennedy Nile, Dylan Huntsman, Carter Huntsman, Mason McQuilken, Leah Young, Trenton Townes and Jeremy Townes, Jr.; two brothers, Raymond Mobley of Columbus, OH and Dwayne Mobley of Kentucky; sister, Arlene Carroll of Arizona; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Janice May (Middleton) Mobley, whom he married on October 18, 1958 and who died on August 9, 2013; his parents; a brother, Lonny E. Mobley; and a sister, Lucille Justice.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
Family Services will be held in Kentucky.
