Gertrude Kaltenbach 's Obituary
Gertrude (Frank) Drayer Kaltenbach, 92, of Winter Springs, Florida and former resident of Alliance, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 12:39 a.m. at South Seminole Hospital in Longwood, Florida.
Born on October 23, 1923 in Alliance, Ohio to Maurice F and Margaret A (Schieser) Frank, she lived in Alliance for most of her life and the past 25 years in Winter Springs, Florida.
A 1943 graduate of Alliance High School, Gertrude was employed United Co-Op, B&W Keystone Plant and Fibrex.
While a resident of Alliance, Gertrude was member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church, and in Winter Springs, she was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church.
Gertrude loved playing cards and was a member of several card clubs.
Survivors include her husband, Frederick H. Kaltenbach of Winter Springs, FL; a step-daughter, Lisa Baxter; step-son, Mark Kaltenbach; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Rosemary Sollazzo of Alliance, OH; two brothers, Ronald (Gerry) Frank of Alliance, OH, Warren (Linda) Frank of Alliance, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her first husband, Clarence “Butch” Drayer on May 13, 1990; her parents, Maurice and Margaret Frank; three sisters, Christina Kaltenbach, Clara Kinser, and Eileen Dugan-Caruso; five brothers, Lester Frank, Norbert Frank, Orval Frank, Gerald Frank, and Urban Frank.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 9:00 am - 10:00 am at Regina Coeli Catholic Church. Her Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 am, with Rev. Joseph Ruggieri, as celebrant. Entombment will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park.
