Gerry Nutter's Obituary
Gerry Nutter, 90, of Alliance, died on Monday, June 7, 2010, at 2:57 a.m., at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring, where she resided. She was born on August 12, 1919 in Harrisville, WV, and lived in Alliance most of her life. She was a former member of the First Christian Church. Mrs. Nutter was a cashier for the former Jay s and the former Super Center and Mount Union College bookstore. Gerry enjoyed playing cards, bowling, and golfing at Sleepy Hollow Country Club. She is survived by a son, Harley (Royceann) Nutter of Homeworth; a daughter, Paula (Mike) Fox of Louisville; and five grandchildren, Brian Nutter, Tasha (Paul) Sirianni, Megan Fox, Rachel Fox and Paul Fox. Preceding her in death was her husband, Paul W. Nutter on May 2, 2004, whom she married on October 22, 1944; her father, Dorr Ferree; her mother, Rose (Handschumacher) Ferree-Wells; and a brother, Gaylord Ferree. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, June 10, 2010 from 12:00 - 1:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, June 10, 2010, at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. David Parry of Copeland Oaks officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
